Day 1 Tue. Launceston, Freedom of Choice Touring, Welcome Dinner On arrival into Launceston be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Then join your selected Freedom of Choice Touring activity - choose to visit either Platypus House, Seahorse World or the Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Centre. Day 2 Wed. East Coast Natureworld, Freycinet National Park Visit the Bridestowe Lavender Farm in flowering season (Dec.-Jan.) and see fields of aromatic purple flowers. Continue through the town of Scottsdale, which services the rich agricultural and forestry region of the north-east. Following the Tasman Highway, enter the temperate rainforests of Weldborough Pass. Treasured giant myrtles, over 300 years old, stand as sentinels along the journey. Continuing south to Bicheno, visit East Coast Natureworld. See our very own Tasmanian Devil, Delilah, then journey to Freycinet National Park and walk along Cape Tourville. Arrive at the renowned Freycinet Lodge where tonight you will enjoy a gourmet barbeque on the deck overlooking magnificent Coles Bay. HIGHLIGHT! Day 3 Thur. Freycinet National Park, Richmond, Hobart This morning, you have some time at leisure to explore picturesque Freycinet National Park. If you’re feeling adventurous you may like to take a walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout. If relaxing is more your style, you may prefer to take a swim in the turquoise blue waters of one of the many stunning beaches that are located in the national park. Or simply relax and take in the surrounds of this amazing region. After spending some time at leisure, rejoin your coach and travel through Swansea to the town of Richmond to see the historic convict-built bridge, then continue to Hobart. This evening, indulge in a Tasmanian Seafood Feast at the Drunken Admiral Restaurant in Hobart, including a Honey and Prawns dish, EXCLUSIVE! Day 4 Fri. Port Arthur Historic Site, Tasman National Park, Hobart Today travel along Tasmania’s rugged south east coast, through Eaglehawk Neck and explore the Port Arthur Historic Site, which features over thirty buildings, ruins and restored period homes set in 40 hectares of landscaped grounds. The Port Arthur penal settlement began as a small timber station in 1830. During your time here, witness the penal colony ruins, explore the chilling prison facilities and cruise on Mason Cove around the Isle of the Dead. After a day of discovery, travel through Tasman National Park, and visit the Tessellated Pavement, Devils Kitchen and Tasman Arch. On arrival back in the state capital, your tour concludes with an included airport transfer. Bx1

Day 1. Camel Farm, Base Tour, Sunset Depart Alice Springs and visit the Camel Farm. See Atila (Mt Conner) in the distance before you reach Ayers Rock Resort. Visit Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and the Maruku Arts and Craft Cooperative. Take a walk to Mutitjulu waterhole and join the guided Mala Walk. Hear the story of the Mala (Hare Wallaby) people who once lived at Uluru (Ayers Rock) and explore Kantju Gorge. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine at Uluru as the sun sets. Perhaps join the Uluru Aussie Barbecue dinner (additional A$102 per person). Day 2. Uluru Sunrise, Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Kings Canyon Enjoy sunrise at Uluru with a tea or coffee in hand. Travel to the western section of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to the immense 36 rock domes of Kata Tjuta. Enjoy a guided walk into Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Marvel at the sheer walls that flank you as you enter the gorge. Journey to Kings Canyon. Stay: Kings Canyon Wilderness Lodge (Exclusive, DB) or Kings Canyon Resort - Lodge Rooms (Budget, shared facilities), Standard Rooms (Standard/First-Class), Spa Rooms (Deluxe)

Day 3. Kings Canyon Rim Walk, Alice Springs Join a guided walk around the rim of Kings Canyon for great views of the towering orange walls. The rim walk also features the rock formation of the Lost City and the lush waterhole known as the Garden of Eden. Alternatively, a less strenuous walk is the canyon floor walk. This walk takes you deep into the canyon amid its stunning plant life. This afternoon visit Kings Creek Station, before arriving in Alice Springs at approximately 6.30 pm. Day 4. West MacDonnells, Alice Springs Town Tour Travel to the West MacDonnell National Park and explore Simpsons Gap and the Aboriginal site of Angkerle (Standley Chasm). Return to Alice Springs and enjoy a town tour, including visits to the School of the Air and the Royal Flying Doctor Service Base. Take in views from Anzac Hill. Lx1

Day 5. Alice Springs This morning explore ‘The Alice’ further before transfer to the airport or railway station.
