We include your international flights, and a flight between the two countries (you pick the cities) with easy airport pickup of your cars. If traveling from Britain to Ireland, you can bring your car or travel as a passenger to five seaports around Ireland. However, we don't recommend it, because the car rental locations on either side are long dustances from the ferryports. If youi wish to take a car across, you must return it to the country in which you rented it, i.e., an Irish car must be returned to Ireland, or SIGNIFICANT drop off fees apply.

Ferries between Ireland and Scotland: The best fares include a flight between Ireland and Scotland. The ferry between Belfast, N. Ireland and Stranraer, Scotland creates a problem with a acr rental because you need to drop off your car in Belfast (not the docks), take a taxi to the ferry, and pick up a car on the Scotland side. There is a considerable drop off fee for picking the car up in the Republic of Ireland and dropping it off in the North, so if you want the ferry, you should fly into Belfast.

When in Ireland... Giving out is an expression for being taken to task. Give someone a ring--call them on the phone, not ask them to marry you!
