Arrive in Dublin and transfer to your hotel. At 2:00 pm tour Dublin, stopping
to visit Dublin Castle’s State Apartments. Meet your fellow travelers over
a welcome drink and dine independently. Day 3: Glendalough & Traditional MusicDiscover Glendalough, a 6th century monastic site founded by St. Kevin. Learn about monastic life and see the round tower and ruined churches. Tonight drive to a popular Dublin venue for a great dinner and a lively show. (B, D) Day 4: Downpatrick & Mount Stewart Drive north and visit the St. Patrick Centre and see the Saint’s grave in Down Cathedral. Visit Mount Stewart House and Gardens, planted in the 1920’s. Check into your hotel in Belfast. (B, D)  Day 5: Giant’s Causeway & Derry See the
highlights of Belfast with a local guide before driving along the “Nine
Glens of Antrim,” a famous scenic drive. View the Giant’s Causeway.
Drive to Derry and join a local guide for a short walking tour around the
medieval city walls. (B, D) Day 6: Belleek China & Westport Journey through the scenic Blue Stack Mountains to Triona Design to learn about tweed and enjoy tea and scones. Tour the Belleek Pottery Factory where craftspeople make delicate china. Travel through Sligo and Mayo to Westport. (B, D) Day 7: Achill Island Excursion Travel to Achill Island, joined to the mainland by bridge. Follow the Atlantic Drive for wonderful mountain views. Return to Westport for a brief walking tour with a local guide. (B, D) Day 8: Cliffs of Moher & Bunratty Travel to Galway and see the city sights. Galway is a vibrant city full of music, art, sculpture, crafts, literature and poetry. Street performers fill the cobble stone pedestrian streets. While in the city enjoy visit the numerous medieval pubs with traditional Irish music. View the awesome Cliffs of Moher before driving to Bunratty. Check into your hotel, located beside Bunratty Castle and in the evening head to Bunratty Castle for a jolly medieval-style dinner. (B, D) Day 9: Flying Boat Museum & Killarney Drive to Foynes to visit the Flying Boat Museum on the River Shannon. Journey into County Kerry to Killarney and check into your hotel. (B, D) Day 10: Jaunting Car & Muckross House Take a horse-drawn jaunting car ride to Muckross House for a tour of the mansion. Drive to the colorful town of Kenmare and up through Moll’s Gap, a wonderful vantage point on the Ring of Kerry before returning to Killarney. years old and is an artistic city home to the Cork Opera House and numerous
galleries and theatres. There are many quaint pubs where traditional Irish
music can be heard nightly. From Cork city you can explore Blarney Castle (kiss
the blarney stone!), Cobh, the last port of call of the Titanic. Drive to the
Blarney Woollen Mills and visit Cobh Heritage Centre to learn about emigration.
Continue to Waterford to tour the Waterford Crystal Factory and see how crystal
pieces are created. After dinner, join a local guide for a stroll. (B, D) Day 12: Medieval Kilkenny & National Stud Stop in the medieval city of Kilkenny before visiting the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens. Check into Dunboyne Castle Hotel and enjoy a farewell dinner with your group. (B, D) Day 13: Dublin to U.S.A. Take a group transfer to Dublin Airport to arrive at 6:00 am, 9:00 am or 12:00 noon.
