Sunday - DUBLIN/WICKLOW This morning we arrive in Dublin, Ireland's capital, which has retained its Georgian elegance. The day is free to relax and explore Dublin's parks and Georgian squares. Its brick row houses are famous for their glass laced doors. Afternoon shopping on your own or join us on a tour to Wicklow to visit Avoca, the mythical "Ballykissangel", and to visit the handweavers who capture the subtle hues of heather and fields in their fabric. Optional: Tonight we'll enjoy a variety of entertainment: comedy, dancing, and traditional Irish music with dinner. Monday - DUBLIN Our half-day sightseeing tour of Ireland's capital will begin with a tour of Trinity College, whose library contains the famous "Book of Kells", and St. Patrick's, Ireland's national cathedral. Visit the Guinness Storehouse in the heart of Dublin, where you sample Ireland's most famous creamy stout. .The evening is free to enjoy this bustling city and friendly people -- maybe you'll want to visit one of Dublin's famous singing pubs! (B)  Tuesday - KILKENNY/WATERFORD We'll pass through the Curragh,
Ireland's horse-breeding center. Enjoy the relaxed pace of Ireland, known for
its bogs and turf fires, rich farmlands and scenic countryside. Travel through
the Curragh, the horse breeding center of Ireland to Kilkenny. Kilkenny, with
its cobbled streets, is one of the finest examples of an Irish medieval town.
You visit Kilkenny Castle, followed by a pub lunch. You continue to Waterford.
Tour the Waterford Glass Factory to see the famous crystal being made. (B,L,D)
 Wednesday - CORK/BLARNEY/KILLARNEY
Our journey today will take us along the coastal route through Dungarvan
and Youghal, an historic walled port and seaside resort. At Blarney we'll have
the chance to kiss "The Stone", said to bestow eloquence on all who
dare. Travel to Killarney. Explore colourful laneways, a fine cathedral, and
historic buildings dating back to the days of the landlord. Experience the
ambience of busy streets in the town center.(B,D) Thursday - DINGLE BAY OR RING OF KERRY An incredible day awaits! We drive along the Kerry Coast to the Dingle Peninsula, one of the natural wonders of Ireland and introduced to the world in "Ryan's Daughter". We'll see the mysterious beehive huts (or stone igloos) en route to Slea Head for a view of the Blasket Islands and Dunmore Head, the westernmost point in Europe. a musical pub evening is in store for us tonight, complete with local entertainment. (B,D) Friday - ADARE/LIMERICK We'll travel to the quaint village of Adare, distinguished by its charming thatched cottages. - CASTLE UPGRADE AVAILABLE! OPTIONAL: Tonight we've planned a special farewell dinner. We'll be transformed back in time as we sip the traditional mead and don bibs to eat with our fingers at a fun-filled medieval dinner at Bunratty Castle, built in 1460 on the edge of Ratty River and protected by a moat. (B)  Saturday - CLIFFS OF MOHER/GALWAY/SHANNONWe ride through the lush countryside along the Clare coast, past tiny, storybook villages, where thatched roofed cottages are surrounded by postage stamp pastures, and ancient castles abound. Butter-golden gorse blankets the stone-framed green fields. The air is scented by the flavor of peat fires. Behold the power of the Cliffs of Moher. The craggy Cliffs of Moher, looming 700 feet above the pounding surf of the Atlantic Ocean far below, offer spectacular scenic vistas during a morning visit. We travel on to Galway, medieval capital of the "West". Galway is a vibrant city full of music, art, sculpture, crafts, literature and poetry. Street performers fill the cobblestone pedestrian streets. While in the city enjoy visit the numerous medieval pubs with traditional Irish music. Time free to visit the impressive Galway Cathedral, Spanish Arch, Eyre Square and the medieval quarter.(B,D) Sunday - SHANNON You have ample time for duty-free shopping before boarding your return flight home.
