Customized Educational Travel Programs for Non Profit Institutions
Fundraiser Travel with other individuals who are dedicated to the same cause. Our group tours will not only provide you with an unforgettable experience but will also allow your organization to raise money for a good cause. Many museums, universities and religious groups sponsor tours. While most are highly informational, they are for entertainment rather than formal education.

At Lynott Tours, we create customized educational travel programs that will satisfy your members and fulfill your institution's objectives. We individually design successful programs to your exact specifications - group educational and special interest travel. Nonprofit - alumni, museum, zoos, and conservation organizations and other nonprofit institutions, such as art, science and natural history museums; alumni associations; alumni, continuing and international education departments; zoos and aquariums; conservation and preservation organizations, national affinity organizations and associations. Our unique, sell-out travel programs are well-planned, well-researched vacations with both substance and style

WE CAN OPERATE TOURS FOR AS FEW AS 6 PEOPLE.

Our sample tour Irish Houses and Gardens tour includes 5 star castles and hotels, and some unique meals, like our arrival night dinner at Glin Castle, home of the Knight of Glin and Madam FitzGerald. WE ARE AN EXPERIENCED TOUR OPERATOR We have 36 years of tour planning experience. Our Lynott Tours staff have intimate knowledge of our six destinations - IRELAND, BRITAIN, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, FIJI AND PAPUA NEW GUINEA. More about us.

WE HAVE THOUSANDS OF SATISFIED CUSTOMERS A client list will be provided on request.

We have a network of trusted colleagues who allow us behind-the scenes adventures - entree into private collections, museums, galleries and embassies.

WE PROTECT YOUR RATE OF EXCHANGE Once your tour is booked, and deposited your exchange rate will not change. We buy "forward" in foreign currency when we have received a deposit for your tour, and the price cannot change after that (unless fewer people travel than were contracted for). There are no last minute price adjustments due to the falling dollar. THESE RATES CAN BE GUARANTEED THROUGH 2010!

WE CAN PROVIDE COORDINATED FOUR COLOR SHELLS AND FOLLOW UP PIECES We can provide up to 500 shells free of charge once you have booked your tour. A coordinated piece is also available as a follow up to your membership. These are available in more than 10 varieties.

WE CAN ARRANGE GUEST LECTURERS FOR YOUR GROUP Guest lecturers spur interest in your tour. We have a number of museum directors, preservationists, and other professionals who can address your group and spur enthusiasm for your tour.

WE CAN MATCH UP YOUR ORGANIZATION WITH A LIKE-MINDED ONE We can operate a tour with as few as 6 persons if need be. However, if you would like help in achieving a larger sized group, we can supply a list of other organizations who might co-sponsor the tour with you.

We hope to welcome you and your group to the Hampton Court Garden Tour, Irish Houses and Gardens, Ancient Ireland or other custom designed tour. Please take a look at our itinerary below, or contact Lynott Tours at 1 (800) 221-2474.

Sincerely yours,

Luxury IrelandDay 3 - LISTOWEL/DINGLE PENINSULA - LITERATURE & ANCIENT STONES Listowel's long history dates back to 1303 where it first appears in the Plea Roll. Described as ‘the Literary Capital of Ireland', the area has produced some of Ireland's most distinguished writers including John B. Keane. Continue on a relaxed trip to the Dingle Peninsula. It has been inhabited for almost 6,000 years. Here you will find the largest collections of archaeological remains in the world of clocháns or beehive huts, stones with the unique ancient ogham writing, and ring forts. Stay in Killarney, with its laneways, a fine cathedral, and the ambience of busy streets. At the Killarney Park Hotel, " we believe in not just answering our guests' needs, but actively anticipating them; the warm smile and gentle service after a long day's travel are not simply something we do but rather a reflection of who we are." (B,D)

Day 4 BLARNEY/KINSALE - SEAPORTS AND SHIPS Blarney Castle is most famous for its stone, which has the traditional power of conferring eloquence on all who kiss it. Travel to the charming seaport of Kinsale. For centuries, the town has been a haven from the sea for travelers and traders alike. Perryville House combines the essence of a Victorian manor, featuring delicate traceries of wrought ironwork on the facade and a delightful interior, offering comfort in a charming atmosphere. Buffet breakfast, morning coffee and afternoon tea are served for guests and the discerning management will be delighted to reserve lunch or dinner for you at any of the gourmet restaurants that abound in Kinsale. (B)

Visit Bantry House and Gardens, one of the finest stately homes in Ireland. The house has a collection of tapestries, furniture and art treasures which were mainly collected by the Earl during his travels through Europe in the 1800's. The Gardens are home to sub tropical plants and shrubs - reflecting the best in European design and style. Features with the 45 acre grounds are the Hundred Steps, the Italian Garden and the largest Wisteria circle in Ireland. Visit basketmakers and the cheesemaker in West Cork. Day 6 COBH/WATERFORD CRYSTAL & TREASURES Cobh is situated in one of the world's finest natural harbors. Over 2.5 million emigrated from Cobh, making it the single most important port of emigration in the country. Cobh was the last port of call for the ill-fated Titanic. Lismore is the Irish home of the Duke of Devonshire, and its gardens are set in seven acres within the 17th century outer defensive walls. The gardens are believed to be the oldest in Ireland retaining much of their original Jacobean form.Visit the great port city of Waterford, made famous by Waterford Crystal at whose Visitor Centre the blowers, cutters and engravers are happy to display their unique skills. Visit Waterford Museum of Treasures and Reginald's Tower which houses many interesting artifacts dating back many centuries. (B,D)

Day 7 WICKLOW - GARDENS Kilmokea Gardens are situated on the joint estuary of the Nore and the Barrow. Around the house are the formal walled gardens and set into the stone wall a heavy wooden door leads you into the magical world of of the lower garden which hosts a wide selection of rare and tender trees and shrubs. Within the walled garden its rooms lead from one design feature to the next. The Italian loggia and pool with its fine stone pillars looks across to the quarter garden brimming with iris and roses. The acid soil of the woodland garden provides the perfect environment for rhododendrons, tender camellias, eucryphias and magnolias. Wickloe is known as the 'Garden of Ireland'. The hills and valleys yield quaint villages, classical mansions and beautiful gardens. At Glendalough, you see St. Kevin's round tower and explore the peaceful valley.
