Notre Dame Game in irelandNavy Notre Dame Game in DublinFriday Aug 31- DUBLINArrive by 10AM and join our Dublin tour. Visit Trinity College Library, containing the famous Book of Kells. See the Bank of Ireland - Ireland's first Parliament, St. Patrick's Cathedral and the Georgian doors of Dublin. Visit the Guinness Brewery, where you will taste the famous stout. Welcome dinner to meet fellow fans.. (D)

Notre Dame Navy Game in IrelandSaturday Sep 1 THE GAME NOTRE DAME FIGHTING IRISH vs NAVY MIDSHIPMEN The football game will be held in Dublin's new Aviva Stadium, a four level state-of-the-art facility with all 50,000 seats under cover. This new stadium is located in a scenic residential area just outside of Dublin city center. The intimate Aviva Stadium is also much smaller than the U.S. stadiums the schools typically play at - offering an experience unlike any other state-side. The novelty of the game, coupled with Aviva Stadium’s relatively small seating capacity (50,000) should make this a very difficult ticket for travellers and locals alike. Navy-Notre Dame To Kick At 2:00 PM Dublin Time. (B)

Sunday Sep 2 - MIDLANDS/ROSCOMMON
Sunday Sep 2 -WICKLOW/WATERFORD Enjoy the relaxed pace of Ireland, known for its bogs and turf fires, rich farmlands and scenic countryside. Travel through the "Garden of Ireland" to Glendalough, home to St. Kevin. Your destination is Waterford, with its award winning Cliff House Hotel, overlooking the sea. (B)

Monday Sep 3 - MIDLETON/COBH/KILLARNEY Visit the Midleton Distillery, where you can test your skill in discerning the difference between Irish and Scotch. This morning you take the scenic route to Cobh, originally a small fishing village. Cobh was the departure point for many Irish immigrants in the 19th century, and is associated with the loss of the Titanic. Visit Blarney, with a chance to kiss "The Stone". Travel through landscapes of the rarest green, where herds of black and white cows peek from every hill on the way to Killarney.(B)

{short description of image}Tuesday Sep 4- RING OF KERRY EXCURSION An incredible day awaits! The scenic and spectacular Ring of Kerry offers unrivaled views of County Kerry's magnificent shoreline, one of nature's masterpieces. Traveling via Killorglin you see beautiful mountain vistas and rugged landscapes along the way. GOLF OPTION AT THE KILLARNEY OMAHONEY COURSE. Travel through Killarney by pony and trap. Have your camera ready! A musical pub evening is in store for us tonight, complete with local entertainment. (B,D)

Wednesday Sep 5- ADARE/GALWAY Visit Muckross Traditional Farm for tea and scones, where you will see villagers practicing ancient farming techniques. Then travel to Adare, a town of thatched cottages. The wonderful west! Behold the power of the Cliffs of Moher. The rugged cliffs, looming above the pounding surf of the Atlantic Ocean far below, offer spectacular scenic vistas during a visit. The limestone Burren features the ancient Paulnabrone Dolmen, and the area is alive with arctic and alpine flowers in the spring and early summer. Travel to Galway, a vibrant, cobblestoned city full of music, art and pubs. The term "lynching" was coined here when the local judge hanged his own son. Dinner at your hotel. (B)

Irish countryside Thursday Sep 6 - ASHFORD CASTLE
Ashford Castle
Afternoon tour to Connemara, including the village of Cong, setting for the John Wayne film, The Quiet Man. Lord Ardilaun incorporated into its castellated facade, the remains of the 13th-Century de Burgo Castle and the original Ashford House, built in the style of a French chateau. The decor is lavish and opulent, the view across the lake is stunning. You can enjoy Irish entertainment in the Dungeon Bar, take a stroll through the lakeside gardens, or saunter into the adjacent village of Cong, setting for the "Quiet Man". The setting on the shores of beautiful Lough Corrib with its hundreds of islands, bays, and coves is stunning. A nine-hole golf course and tennis courts, health club with sauna, gym, and Jacuzzi, salmon and trout fishing, tennis, and cruising on the "Corrib Queen" are available. (B)

Bunratty BanquetFriday Sep. 7 DOONBEG Spanning 380 acres, the Doonbeg estate is home to what may be the last true links course built in either Ireland or Great Britain. Doonbeg Golf Club officially opened in 2002, and was immediately designated as Golf Digest's "Best New International Course." Two-time British Open champion Greg Norman is the course architect, selected for his incomparable design skill and his "least disturbance" philosophy of routing courses to fit existing terrains. Norman's layout follows a course designed by nature - 14 of Doonbeg's greens and 12 of its fairways required no changes but a simple mowing of the grass. The fairways and greens consist of native grasses, including fine fescues, bentgrass, and ryegrass. Medieval banquet dinner. (B,D)
