Patrick's Cathedral and the Georgian doors of Dublin. Visit the Guinness
Brewery, where you will taste the famous stout. Welcome dinner to meet fellow
fans.. (D) Saturday Sep 1 THE GAME NOTRE DAME
FIGHTING IRISH vs NAVY MIDSHIPMEN The football game will be held in Dublin's
new Aviva Stadium, a four level state-of-the-art facility with all 50,000 seats
under cover. This new stadium is located in a scenic residential area just
outside of Dublin city center. The intimate Aviva Stadium is also much smaller
than the U.S. stadiums the schools typically play at - offering an experience
unlike any other state-side. The novelty of the game, coupled with Aviva
Stadiums relatively small seating capacity (50,000) should make this a
very difficult ticket for travellers and locals alike. Navy-Notre Dame To Kick

The limestone Burren features the ancient Paulnabrone Dolmen, and the area is alive with arctic and alpine flowers in the spring and early summer. Travel to Galway, a vibrant, cobblestoned city full of music, art and pubs. The term "lynching" was coined here when the local judge hanged his own son. Dinner at your hotel. (B) Thursday Sep 6 - ASHFORD CASTLE Afternoon tour to Connemara, including the village
of Cong, setting for the John Wayne film, The Quiet Man. Lord Ardilaun

chateau. The decor is lavish and opulent, the view across the lake is stunning.
You can enjoy Irish entertainment in the Dungeon Bar, take a stroll through the
lakeside gardens, or saunter into the adjacent village of Cong, setting for the
"Quiet Man". The setting on the shores of beautiful Lough Corrib with
its hundreds of islands, bays, and coves is stunning. A nine-hole golf course

acres, the Doonbeg estate is home to what may be the last true links course
built in either Ireland or Great Britain. Doonbeg Golf Club officially opened
in 2002, and was immediately designated as Golf Digest's "Best New
International Course." Two-time British Open champion Greg Norman is the
course architect, selected for his incomparable design skill and his
"least disturbance" philosophy of routing courses to fit existing
terrains. Norman's layout follows a course designed by nature - 14 of Doonbeg's
greens and 12 of its fairways required no changes but a simple mowing of the
grass. The fairways and greens consist of native grasses, including fine
fescues, bentgrass, and ryegrass. Medieval banquet dinner. (B,D) Saturday Sep 8 HOMEWARD The tour ends with a transfer to Shannon Airport. (B) Notre Dame Navy in Ireland Deluxe Tour of Ireland includes:
