aloft.Day 2 Arrive Shannon. Transfers at 7am-12noon. Check into your hotel near Bunratty Castle. Time on your own.Today you will travel to the medieval village of Bunratty. Bunratty's main attraction is the 13th century Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. The Folk Park recreates rural and urban life in 19th century Victorian Ireland. Here you can watch demonstrations of how life was carried out in these times. Day 3 Burren & Cliffs of Moher - GalwayTravel through Ennis to Kilfenora for a visit to the Burren Display Centre to learn about the Burren’s rock formations. Behold the power of the Cliffs of Moher The rugged Cliffs of Moher, looming above the pounding surf of the Atlantic Ocean far below, offer spectacular scenic vistas during a morning visit. Drive to Galway with views of Galway Bay. (B, D)  Day 4 –
Connemara & Kylemore Tour Connemara, a region of boglands and
misty mountains. Visit Kylemore Abbey, a 19th century neo-Gothic mansion, now a
girls’ school. In Moycullen see craftsmen cutting fine crystal at the
Connemara Celtic Crystal Factory. (B, D) Day 5 – Yeats’ Country & Country Life Head north to Castlebar to visit the Museum of Irish Life. This modern building explains how Irish people made a living from the soil from 1850 to 1950. Also see the Victorian mansion of Turlough Park House where some of the rooms are open to view. Travel through County Sligo and stop to view the W. B. Yeats’ grave in Drumcliffe Churchyard. Continue your journey through Donegal and past the lovely Blue Stack Mountains to Derry for dinner and overnight. (B, D) Day 6 – Derry & Giant’s Causeway  A guided walking tour around central
Derry will include the 16th century city walls. You wind, dip and weave your
way along the coast to see fishing trawlers unload their catch. As the road
narrows, farms and grazing lands become postcard-perfect. Ruddy Irish men along
country lanes leave a lasting memory of this land. Drive to see the
Giant’s Causeway, basalt columns formed over 60 million years ago. Visit
the nearby Old Bushmills Distillery for a tour and tasting before returning to
Derry. (B, D) Day 7 – Folk Park & Cabra Castle Visit the Ulster American Folk Park, a collection of cottages which tells the story of emigration from Ulster. Here, you enter a ship bound for America and emerge in a recreated Irish village of long ago. Travel south to Kingscourt to your castle hotel, built in 1760, and enjoy a farewell dinner with informal entertainment. Its halls and courtyards once echoed to the footsteps of Oliver Cromwell and James II. Today the former Corney Castle offers a tranquil sanctuary to the busy wayfarers of modern times. Set in 100 acres of parkland, Cabra Castle's rooms offer unique antiques and paintings. Leisure facilities include a 9 hole golf course, enclosed gardens and Lady's Lake and walks through the forest park. Situated in Kingscourt, Co.
