ADARE MANOR - Ireland resortsThis ornate
Gothic mansion was built as the elaborate home of the Earls of Dunraven
adjacent to the pretty village of Adare. In the original manor, bedrooms and
suites are baronial in size with elaborately carved marble fireplaces,
king-sized beds, and seating arrangements. Bathrooms have marble floors and
walls, huge tubs, and generous-sized dressing rooms. On the grounds are
geometrical box gardens, the remains of a Franciscan priory built in 1464, the
keep of the feudal Desmond Castle, a pets' graveyard, and a championship golf
course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. There is a swimming pool, gym,
sauna, snooker room, and tack-room bar complete with Irish music. Horse riding,
fishing, golf and clay-pigeon shooting are available on the estate. Conde Nast
Traveler magazine rated Adare as one of Europe's premier resorts.
ASHFORD CASTLE Lord Ardilaun
incorporated into its castellated facade, the remains of the 13th-Century de
Burgo Castle and the original Ashford House, built in the style of a French
chateau. The decor is lavish and opulent, the view across the lake is stunning.
You can enjoy Irish entertainment in the Dungeon Bar, take a stroll through the
lakeside gardens, or saunter into the adjacent village of Cong, setting for the
"Quiet Man". The setting on the shores of beautiful Lough Corrib with
its hundreds of islands, bays, and coves is stunning. A nine-hole golf course
and tennis courts, health club with sauna, gym, and Jacuzzi, salmon and trout
fishing, tennis, and cruising on the "Corrib Queen" are available.

Leisure facilities include a 9 hole golf course, enclosed gardens and Lady's Lake and walks through the forest park. Situated in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, just 1 ½ hours from Dublin CLONTARF CASTLE This 17th century castle (originally built in 1132) was given to a loyal servant of Cromwell's army whose family continued to hold ownership for the next 300 years. Located just a few miles from Dublin city center, Clontarf offers 100 charming guestrooms, entertainment and elegant dining facilities. -MARKREE CASTLE The
Coopers have lived here for 350 years, near Collooney, County Sligo, in Yeat's
Country. This 17th century castle, now a 3 star hotel is set in a large estate
with lovely gardens. The oak main staircase is overlooked by a stained glass
window depicting 20 generations of Cooper history. Comfortable bedrooms. BALLYGALLY CASTLE - The Ballygally Castle dates back to 1625 and the hotel is unique in that it is the only 17th Century building still used as a residence in Northern Ireland today! Ideally located on the scenic Antrim coast only 20 miles from Belfast, the hotel faces the soft, sandy beaches of Ballygally Bay and is an ideal base for touring. This enchanting hotel is full of character and charm The many original features and antique furnishings give the hotel a feeling of stylish living in the last century and add to the unique welcoming atmosphere! The famous "Nine Glens of Antrim" and the Giant's Causeway are near at hand and the superb scenery can be enjoyed from many coastal and glen walks. WATERFORD CASTLE Take the private ferry to a secluded island with a luxury castle hotel and golf course on the outskirts of Waterford city. Built by the Fitzgerald family in 1160, around the time of the Norman Invasion, the Castle was also the home of an Italian Princess. The driveway was a rough track carved out a thousand years ago by medieval monks. This is a cloud-grey stonework fantasy place, with granite arches and stout, studded oak doors. Spend your time at the tennis courts, swimming pool, or the par 72 golf course measuring 6,790 yards. BALLYNAHINCH CASTLE click here for picture. Ballynahinch Castle, once the home of the O'Flaherty chieftains, exudes warmth and friendliness with its bar with its old brick floor and a long table which displays the "catch of the day". The fishing beats are close to the house. Bedrooms are large. Bedrooms face either the mountain or the River Ballynahinch. The natural beauty of Connemara is on your doorstep and often guests never leave the hotel's property, spending their days wandering on the well marked footpaths through the 350 acres of grounds or just curling up with a book beside the fire. BALLYSEEDE CASTLE located in Tralee, Co. Kerry. Ballyseede was the chief garrison of the legendary Fitzgerald, Earls of Desmond. Following the defeat of the Fitzgeralds in 1584, the house and land was deeded for the sum of one red rose per year to be presented on Mid-summers Day. Ballyseede Castle has two curved bows on either side and a battlemented parapet. The relaxed and low-key castle stands at the end of its own winding carriage drive or avenue. BARBERSTOWN CASTLE Barberstown Castle is an historic Country House Hotel. Built in the 13th century, the Castle is situated only 30 minutes drive from both Dublin Airport and the city center, thus making it an ideal first or last visit on your Country House tour of Ireland. Each of the bedrooms has been decorated in an individual style and dedicated to the ordinary and extraordinary people who have lived within its walls DROMOLAND CASTLE
Dromoland Castle is a spectacular place to spend either your first or last
night's stay if you are flying into or out of Shannon Airport. Dromoland was
the ancestral home of the Lords Inchiquin, direct descendants of Brian Boru,
high king of Ireland. It is one of the finest examples of a baronial residence.
Up the grand staircase are found the hotel's premier rooms and luxurious suites
and a portrait gallery of past incumbents of the estate. Jacket and tie for
gentlemen are required after 7pm in the elegant, formal dining room and the
book lined bar where guests often settle after dinner to join in the singing of
popular Irish ballads. Fishing, horse riding, and bird shooting can be arranged
nearby. The golf course meanders around the castle and is a challenging par 71
measuring over 6500 yards. The Egon Ronay guide named the dining room as the
best restaurant in Ireland. BOOK THIS TODAY! CALL LYNOTT TOURS 9AM-5PM MONDAY-FRIDAY AT (800) 221-2474 OR Please Email Us For Information Click here for Ireland Golf vacation 6 nights Irish golf tour Click here for a credit card form.
