Meath: ask for rates Ballymaloe Farm Cottages - Cork The one & two-bed roomed farm cottages are located beside the working farmyard at Ballymaloe House and are rented on a self-catering basis. Recently renovated to a high standard, they provide the comforts of modern living whilst retaining their traditional feel. They are sunny, warm and comfortable and beautifully planted with fruit trees and climbing roses. All bedrooms can be either twin or double, and cots are available by arrangement. The Tower -This is a new addition to Ballymaloe, an elegant, tall, castle which was converted in 2007. The ground floor has a small, well equipped kitchen off the round living / dining area. The second floor has a twin bedded room with shower. The third floor has a twin bedded room with bath/shower. The castellated roof garden has table & chairs where you can get away from it all and enjoy a 365 degree view of the surrounding farmland. Beautifully designed, it is certainly a talking point of the holiday. Orchard Cottage - This cottage is what is referred to as a two up, two down. The accommodation on the ground floor consists of a large farmhouse-style kitchen with doors opening to the sunny garden where there is an outdoor eating area, which due to its sunny aspect can be used all year around. There is also a large sitting room on this floor. The couch may be converted to a double bed and there is a bathroom with shower off this room. Upstairs there are two twin bedded rooms, one with bath/shower and the other with shower. Ewe and Duckling Cottage - These one bed roomed cottages are in converted farm buildings, the stone arched doorways have been retained. The accommodation consists of a ground–floor kitchen / living area with wood burning stove and door to the garden. Upstairs there is a twin-bedded room with shower. Duckling Cottage & Orchard Cottage are adjacent and can convert to a 2 and 3 bedroomed cottage by opening the inter-connecting doors if required. Townhouse Accommodation at Adare Manor The charming 18 two bedroomed and 7 four bedroom garden townhouses at Adare Manor are a spacious and updated alternative to the stately Manor house. The Townhouses are located just a three minute walk from the Manor house and they enjoy the same breathtaking setting and all of the same services, facilities and amenities. Each Townhouse has it's own private entrance and each bedroom is en-suite, a fully-equipped kitchen and dining room, a cosy and comfortable living room and a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The Townhouses are a perfect place to spend a family holiday or to bring a group of golfers. A mature and challenging course winds it's way from the ruins of the Desmond Castle (c1200), which forms a magnificant backdrop to the 1st green, through tree lines fairways to the ruins of the Franciscan Abbey (c1464) at the top end of the course. Mature majestic trees abound and demand accuracy on approaches to many greens. It will prove a challenge to the most seasoned of golfers. Both rooms have a bed configuration that can be separated for twin occupancy or zipped and linked to make a king bed, spacious marble bathrooms with twin vanities and separate shower stall to the bathtub. Each of the bedrooms open out to a spacious patio where guests can sit back and enjoy the splendor of this remarkable setting. Bay Villas is a cluster of three thatched, four bedroom villas, each situated in their own private grounds and accessed through a private gated entrance only a short stroll from Sheen Falls Lodge and with views over the Kenmare River. All rooms (4 Double Bedrooms) will have a bed configuration that can be separated for twin occupancy or zipped and linked to make a king bed, spacious marble bathrooms with twin vanities and separate shower stall to the bathtub. Cross over a bridge from the mainland and enter a world apart. Situated on the northern tip of Upper Lough Erne, Belle Isle is a 470-acre estate spread over eight picturesque islands. Inhabited since the 12th century, the estate today offers a wide range of attractive self-catering accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets. Moreover, Belle Isle is also a vibrant working estate with a fully functioning farm including a fine herd of ninety dairy cows. Visitors to the estate can choose to stay in apartments, cottages, houses or even a castle, with each room designed and furnished to enhance quality and comfort. This broad range of accommodation has been carefully planned to cater for everyone, from visitors who simply wish to relax away from the pressures of everyday life to those who are keen to enjoy the varied activities available in the Fermanagh Lakelands area. The Bridge House takes its name from the nearby bridge that links Belle Isle to the main shore. More serious fishermen may prefer to use the purpose-built fishing stands that are close at hand. The Bridge House was completely renovated in April 2007 and has now gained four star status. Downstairs there is a sitting room and dining room with an open arch under the stairs connecting the two rooms. The kitchen has new wooden cupboards and drawers and an electric cooker, microwave and a fridge with a large deep freeze section, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
