Ireland - Dublin Vacation

Independent Tour of Dublin
Doors of Dublin - Dublin travel
This Dublin travel vacation features budget Dublin hotels to luxurious 5 star Dublin hotels. Dublin sightseeing is part of the fun, too! Add on other sightseeing to Newgrange, Wicklow, even an excursion to Killarney and a Ring of Kerry tour to make this your dream vacation.

Dublin, the capital of Ireland, is a bustling city that rarely sleeps. Attractions include Phoenix Park, where you can see the US Ambassador's residence; O'Connell Street, where you will find the General Post Office - the site of the Easter Rising in 1916; the River Liffey, from which comes the water for the world-famous Guinness Irish Stout and the Guinness Brewery, Visitor Center and Storehouse. Be sure not to miss the Molly Malone Statue near Trinity College.

It's divided into sections, Dublin 1 & 2 are city center. The higher the numbers go the further out from the city you are going. Even numbers are southside (nicer area) and odd numbers northside.

It's also great fun using Dublin's new tram network and the DART, a little further afield and discover some of the nearby suburbs.
