Day 1: Arrival in Vibrant Glasgow

Welcome to Bonnie Scotland’s splendid city of Glasgow! After settling into our hand-picked hotel, we’ll meet the group and your expert Tour Leader over a delicious, hearty Welcome Dinner. Here’s to the incredible journey ahead!

Day 2: UNESCO History to the Isle of Arran

This morning, the picturesque 18th-century New Lanark awaits. We’ll wander the streets of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, discovering its social and industrial history. Then, we traverse the Clyde Coast to catch the ferry to the tranquil Isle of Arran, our home for two nights. Enjoy a free afternoon to soak up the ambiance and meet the friendly locals on this authentic island escape.

Day 3: Arran Wildlife Safari

Forget the African plains—today, we seek Arran’s "Big Five" on a unique safari experience with a local guide! Spot majestic golden eagles, stags, otters, red squirrels, and seals as we roam the isle’s beautiful terrain, learning its history and ecology.

Day 4: Ancient History and Seafood Capital

Returning to the mainland, we head to Kilmartin Glen, a landscape boasting 5,000 years of history and one of the most important concentrations of Neolithic and Bronze Age remains in Europe. We'll wander among the scattered standing stones and ancient forts before heading toward Oban, the Seafood Capital of Scotland, where we’ll share tales over an included Group Dinner.

Day 5: Scented Gardens & Medieval Forts

Awaken your senses at Arduaine Garden, a colorful paradise first bloomed in 1898, filled with exotic azaleas, magnolias, and Himalayan lilies. Following a short orientation tour of Oban, we visit the mighty Dunstaffnage Castle and Chapel—one of the oldest stone castles in Scotland, boasting centuries of treasured history.

Day 6: Glencoe's Drama & Loch Lomond

More breathtaking scenery is on the cards today as we journey through the magnificent Glencoe Valley. We’ll visit the Glencoe Visitor Centre to learn the haunting story of the 1692 Glencoe Massacre. Afterward, we journey through the beautiful Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, stopping at the finest viewpoints before reaching the picturesque village of Luss.

Day 7: Loch Lomond Cruise & Farewell

After a leisurely morning, we continue our discovery of Loch Lomond with a scenic cruise offering stunning views of distant islands and majestic mountains. Spend free time exploring Luss's medieval history or its tranquil 19th-century church. Tonight, we gather for a special Farewell Dinner, toasting a cherished adventure filled with wonder and new friendships.

Iona

Day 8: Edinburgh Sightseeing & Departure

Before our tour concludes, we visit the beautiful capital, Edinburgh. We’ll embark on a driving tour of the New Town and the famous Royal Mile. The morning is yours to discover this sublime city before choosing to depart the tour here or join the coach back to Glasgow for farewells

If your flight returns early the next day, you may wish to book an extra night in Glasgow.  We can help with that.
